How To Make Organic Fertilizer

Composting your yard debris, such as grass clippings, raked leaves, etc. can be an excellent source of fertilizer to help nourish your gardens.

Next, add organic material to the bin and "turn" the pile every so often with a pitch fork or sholvel.

When the material has broken down to a dark, humus like consistency you can distribute it across the surface of your garden, or use it in the hole when planting.
